Fiberbinder Red

Fiberbinder® is a workplace health and safety product used to minimize the risk of inhalation and dispersion of harmful asbestos and mineral wool.

Fiberbinder® immobilizes harmful fibers for at least 12 months and, when used correctly, significantly improves the work environment. Fiberbinder® can be used in the following situations:

1. For binding asbestos fibers at the source
(for the removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials (bonded and non-bonded))

2. For binding asbestos fibers that cannot be vacuumed away
,
This allows for the safe removal of structural components contaminated with asbestos-containing material residues (for example, wooden framing to which an asbestos-containing application has been screwed).

3. In acute situations with a high risk of fiber emission.

To immediately secure the work environment and fix the existing fibers. This allows further remediation to be postponed for a short period to a more natural time.

Consumption

The coverage is between 7 and 15 m2 per liter, depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Ready to use

Fiberbinder® is pre-mixed and can be applied directly to the surfaces to be treated.

For application, it is recommended to use a nebulizer to ensure even distribution of the product.

The red version ensures that a visible marking remains, so that it is immediately visually apparent that the substrate in question has been treated with Fiberbinder®.
